Yankees provide updates on Judge, Fried, and Schmidt injuries

Yankees manager Aaron Boone updated the media on the injury status of players Aaron Judge, Max Fried, and Clarke Schmidt ahead of their series opener against the Astros on August 25. Judge is progressing in his recovery, expected to participate in batting practice and running drills after initially starting with tee-and-toss. Fried, who is on the injured list due to elbow inflammation, has started throwing live batting practice and could return for a doubleheader on August 27. Boone stated that Schmidt is set to ramp up his activities and will ultimately contribute from the bullpen once he's back with the team.
