Yankees seek outfield help as MLB trade deadline nears

As the MLB trade deadline approaches on August 3, the New York Yankees are actively seeking outfield assistance. The team is currently missing all regular outfielders due to injuries, with Cody Bellinger the latest addition to the injured list. General Manager Brian Cashman is exploring potential trades, eyeing players like Lane Thomas, Spencer Steer, Jo Adell, Jorge Soler, and George Springer. Meanwhile, the Detroit Tigers are contemplating the future of ace pitcher Tarik Skubal, who has returned from elbow surgery but may be moved if the team fails to contend for a playoff spot. Detroit is four games behind the third AL wild-card position.
