Yordan Alvarez to skip 2026 Home Run Derby participation

Yordan Alvarez, the American League's home run leader, announced he will not take part in the upcoming Home Run Derby on July 13 at Citizens Bank Park. Despite leading the majors in several categories, including slugging percentage and total bases, Alvarez stated that he remains interested in the event but is opting out this year.
