York advances to Maine Class B lacrosse final after defeating Kennebunk

York High School's boys lacrosse team secured a spot in the Class B state championship by defeating Kennebunk 11-6 in the semifinals on June 16. The third-seeded Wildcats took a commanding 6-1 lead by halftime and maintained their advantage despite a strong second-half effort from Kennebunk. Noah Stone led York's scoring with three goals, supported by contributions from several teammates. York will face No. 4 Marshwood in the championship game on June 19 at Memorial Stadium in Portland.
