York Knights sign half-back Cody Hunter from Newcastle Thunder

York Knights have signed half-back Cody Hunter on a two-year deal after his loan spell with the team. The 24-year-old Australian previously played with Newcastle Thunder and made a significant impact, scoring five tries in 20 appearances during his time with York. Hunter's addition comes after he scored 10 tries in 11 games for Newcastle at the start of the season. Head coach Mark Applegarth expressed optimism about Hunter's potential for growth in the coming years. York Knights finished their debut Super League season in 10th place.
