York Knights sign hooker Thomas Doyle from Wakefield Trinity

York Knights have signed hooker Thomas Doyle, who was released by Wakefield Trinity last week. Doyle, 27, joins on a deal until the end of the 2027 season and is available for selection for York's upcoming match against Super League leaders Leeds on Sunday. His only two appearances this season were during a loan stint with Bradford Bulls. Head coach Mark Applegarth expressed eagerness to work with Doyle, describing him as a tough player eager to improve.
