"The Motor City Machine Guns and FTR’s pre-show-ending, PPV-starting banger set the bar high for tag team wrestling at WrestleDream tonight (Oct. 17). But the AEW tag scene is quite loaded these days, and tag champs The Young Bucks and their challengers Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight were up to the challenge set by Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley’s win over Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler. Don Callis’ young stars started hot and controlled things for lengthy stretches of the match. When they were in the driver’s seat, Fletcher and Knight were on the same page. Especially when they were mocking Matt & Nick Jackson’s schtick: .@kylefletcherpro & @Jet2Flyy take a page out of the Young Bucks’ playbook! 📖 Watch #AEWWrestleDream LIVE on PPV! pic.twitter.com/ZNHo61Ltz7 — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) October 18, 2026 But the brothers are always on the same page, which sometimes leads to pretty amazing things in the ring. They fell out of synch after Knight tagged himself in and Fletcher let him know about it. Not long after that, a Knight springboard clothesline intended for a Buck took out Fletcher instead. The Bucks quickly grabbed him for a BTE Trigger, and keep the belts.
