Young players lead Bundesliga scoring while Harry Kane trails

The 2026/27 Bundesliga season is three matchdays into its schedule with several young talents topping the goal-scoring charts. Harry Kane has registered a single goal for FC Bayern Munich, as tactical changes have resulted in the striker playing in a deeper position. Younes Ebnoutalib of Eintracht Frankfurt, Igor Matanović of SC Freiburg, and Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen lead the standings with three goals each. Meanwhile, Maurice Krattenmacher has recorded three goals for SV Elversberg, including a performance against his former club. Other FC Bayern Munich players, including Aleksander Pavlović, Dayot Upamecano, Lennart Karl, Luis Díaz, and Michael Olise, have also contributed one goal apiece as the club continues its transition.
