Young sailors compete in Nacra 15 World Championship in Plymouth Sound

Young sailors from around the world gather in Plymouth Sound for the Nacra 15 World Championship. Hosted by Hooe Point Sailing Club and Plym Yacht Club, the event features 60 catamarans designed for sailors aged 13 to 21. Competitors have traveled from Europe, Australia, the United States, South Africa, and China, with several hoping to qualify for future Olympic Games. An opening ceremony takes place Monday, with four races scheduled each day from Tuesday to Saturday, weather permitting. Spectators can enjoy the view from various locations along the coast.
