Zack Gelof files lawsuit against Tigers for July knee injury

The injury occurred as Gelof made a sliding catch, resulting in a deep laceration close to his patellar tendon. Gelof argues that the exposed metal fencing in the play area was improperly protected, contributing to the incident. The lawsuit claims that subsequent to the injury, protective padding was added in the affected area. Gelof is seeking damages for lost wages, pain and suffering, and legal fees.
