Zak Hardaker signs two-year contract with York Knights

Zak Hardaker will join the York Knights for the 2027 English Super League season. The 34-year-old outside back is signing a two-year deal following his tenure with Hull FC, where he has played since the beginning of 2025. This move marks the eighth club of Hardaker's career, which includes past stints with Featherstone Rovers, Leeds Rhinos, Penrith Panthers, Castleford Tigers, Wigan Warriors, and Leigh Leopards. Hardaker brings experience as a three-time Super League winner and two-time Challenge Cup champion to the York roster. He joins fellow recruits Cameron McInnes and Blake Lawrie at the club for the upcoming season. Throughout 397 professional appearances, Hardaker has recorded 150 tries and 353 goals.
