Zaydrius Rainey-Sale showcases elite athleticism for Washington football team

Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, entering his second year with the Washington Huskies, has positioned himself as one of the fastest linebackers in the country. Last season, he recorded 21 tackles, a sack, an interception, and two pass breakups in eight games. Now weighing 240 pounds, he has increased his muscle while retaining his speed, allowing him to play multiple positions on the field. Linebackers coach Brian Odom praised Rainey-Sale for his versatility, pointing out that he can contribute significantly alongside senior linebackers Jacob Manu and Xe'ree Alexander. The Huskies are set to begin their fall camp shortly, where Rainey-Sale's skill set will be further employed.
