Liutova entered the tournament as the first player born in the 2010s to qualify for a Grand Slam main draw and the youngest athlete in the competition. Her loss marks the end of a nine-match winning streak. Zheng, who returned to the tour following arthroscopic elbow surgery in 2025, praised the teenager's performance in her post-match interview. Liutova earned $140,000 in prize money for her qualifying efforts and main draw appearance.
