Ziaire Williams discusses his role and new teammates with the Lakers

Ziaire Williams signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers to bolster the team's wing depth. During discussions with JJ Redick and Rob Pelinka, Williams was informed that his primary responsibility will be serving as a point-of-attack defender. The 24-year-old indicated that he expects to play off primary ball handlers Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves while contributing in transition. Williams also addressed his reunion with former high school teammate Bronny James, who has been assisting him with the team’s offensive and defensive schemes.
