Zoe Backstedt wins stage three of Tour de Suisse Femmes

Zoe Backstedt secured her ninth professional road race victory on Friday, winning stage three of the Tour de Suisse Femmes in Bad Ragaz. Backstedt executed a strong finish during a bunch sprint, overcoming a breakaway that had led the race, with her team playing a crucial role in the lead-out. Despite her win, she remains over 16 minutes behind overall leader Elisa Longo Borghini. Fellow British cyclist Lauren Dickson, second overall, experienced a crash but was timed with the group under the final 5km rule. A 24km time trial is scheduled for Saturday, where Backstedt aims for back-to-back stage wins.
