Zoe Backstedt secured her ninth professional road race victory on Friday, winning stage three of the Tour de Suisse Femmes in Bad Ragaz. Backstedt executed a strong finish during a bunch sprint, overcoming a breakaway that had led the race, with her team playing a crucial role in the lead-out. Despite her win, she remains over 16 minutes behind overall leader Elisa Longo Borghini. Fellow British cyclist Lauren Dickson, second overall, experienced a crash but was timed with the group under the final 5km rule.
