Zubaira Tukhugov believes Khabib Nurmagomedov won't compete again

Zubaira Tukhugov stated that Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion, is unlikely to return to any form of competition, including grappling. Despite Nurmagomedov's consistent training, Tukhugov is convinced that he remains firm on his retirement decision made in 2020. Tukhugov is scheduled to compete in a no-gi grappling match at ACBJJ 21 this weekend in Moscow. He revealed that Nurmagomedov has encouraged him to retire from fighting and focus on training for personal satisfaction instead. Tukhugov noted that Nurmagomedov is still in great shape, training hard as if preparing for competition, but he doesn't expect Nurmagomedov to return to the mat or the octagon.
