The San Francisco 49ers have acquired linebacker Deion Jones from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for running back Zamir White. Jones, entering his 11th NFL season, previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and appeared in all 17 games last season. This trade reunites Jones with former Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, now the 49ers' coordinator. Zamir White has struggled in preseason with 30 rushing yards on 14 carries, raising questions about his roster status. The 49ers aim to bolster their linebacker depth ahead of the season.
