Aaron Donald likely to debut for Rams in week two or three

Aaron Donald remains unlikely to play in the Los Angeles Rams' season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia. Team officials have not formally ruled out the veteran defender for the game, which is scheduled for nine days from September 1. Having been away from the league for two years, Donald is currently being integrated into team practice. The organization intends to monitor his snap counts closely during the early stages of the season to prioritize long-term health rather than immediate high-volume usage. While the Rams possess defensive line depth, including Myles Garrett, they are evaluating Donald’s ability to perform before committing to a specific return date. A debut during the second or third week of the season is viewed as the most probable timeline for his return to regular-season play.
