Aaron Donald returns to the Rams to join defensive line

Three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald is returning to the NFL to play for the Los Angeles Rams. The 35-year-old defensive lineman, who retired in 2024, will join a roster that already acquired Myles Garrett earlier this year. The team currently projects Donald alongside Kobie Turner and Poona Ford on the defensive front. The Rams previously strengthened their secondary by adding cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. Donald agreed to rework his contract to accommodate the team's salary cap requirements as the roster prepares for the upcoming season following an appearance in last year's NFC Championship Game.
