Clemson recorded a 22-7 win over Georgia Southern despite an injury to Christopher Vizzina, while the California Golden Bears earned their first victory under head coach Tosh Lupoi by defeating Syracuse 21-18. Several programs now prepare for upcoming non-conference matchups, including the FSU Seminoles who face Alabama and NC State which plays Vanderbilt.
