Adael Amador records strong offensive numbers for Colorado Rockies in 2026

Colorado Rockies infielder Adael Amador has produced a significant offensive turnaround during his recent stint with the major league roster. Through his first 12 games of the 2026 season, the 23-year-old switch hitter is batting.333 with three home runs and 10 RBIs. This performance marks a notable departure from his limited appearances in 2024 and 2025, where he struggled to maintain consistency at the plate. Amador was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque following roster expansions in September and an injury to Willi Castro. He has since seen increased playing time across the infield and at designated hitter. With 16 games remaining in the season, the utility player continues to compete for a long-term role within the Rockies organization.
