ADM softball earns first Iowa state title with victory over Carlisle

Adel-De Soto-Minburn (ADM) softball team secured its first state title in program history with a 6-0 win over Carlisle on July 23 in Fort Dodge. The Tigers showcased strong performances, including a dominant outing by pitcher Lauren Hagedorn, who allowed only four hits, and catcher Kinzie Maxwell, who recorded three hits, including a home run. ADM went undefeated in the tournament, capping a 24-game winning streak and concluding their season with a 37-4 record. This marks a significant achievement after six consecutive state tournament appearances without a title.
