What they're saying

AEW All Out is two weeks away on Saturday, September 26 from Chicago. There wasn’t much movement on the card over the past week, but there is one big question brewing. Will the women’s world title bout be one-on-one or a three-way? Words are heating up between champion Mercedes Moné and Thekla. Willow Nightingale is also in the mix. Thekla and Willow are the two previous champions, so it makes sense for them to be hovering around the title scene. Many fans wanted Thekla inserted for a three-way at All In as a reward for her great work. AEW stuck to the singles match, and Mercedes defeated Willow in a fantastic fight. Mercedes and Thekla bring charisma as opponents, but it does mean heel versus heel. I’d like to think we’re past the idea that heel versus heel shouldn’t be done, especially in this case as a special attraction. Many fans root for Mercedes and Thekla anyway, so there will be a reaction if they collide. The easy answer would be to insert Willow for a triple-threat. Personally, I favor one-on-one. I want to see what Mercedes and Thekla can cook up in the ring. Save the three-way with Willow for the next PPV. The All Out card currently stands at three matches deep: AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Jon Moxley AEW World Tag Team Championship: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage (c) vs. Young Bucks vs. FTR in a ladder match with tables and chairs AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship: Brawling Birds (c) vs. Divine Dominion in a Chicago street fight Megan Bayne and Lena Kross promised a new hell for Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor. They dominate with their bare hands. Imagine them with weapons for the Chicago street fight. "We will not make excuses. We will just promise a new hell." Divine Dominion (@MeganBayne + @Lena_Kross) are downright incredulous that The Brawling Birds asked for a Chicago Street Fight for the Women's Tag Titles at #AEWAllOut! It’s only a matter of time before former trios champions The Good, The Bad, & The Guapo get a straight-up bout with Swerve, Austin Creed, & Kofi. Ciampa’s promo on Collision may slide the other men’s titles into place. He is coming to Chicago for gold. I don’t see AEW booking heel versus heel with Okada for the AEW International Championship. That leaves Andrade and Allin open. Andrade is in a trios match against PAC on Dynamite, so I can see that transitioning into a title bout. Ciampa can target Allin for the TNT Championship. "I'll see you in Chicago."@MrTommasoCiampa has seen quite a bit in his time already in AEW. Now, he says it's time to go All Out! Watch #AEWCollision LIVE on TNT & HBO Max pic.twitter.com/NZ84FLeMCp — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) September 13, 2026 Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker DMD are beefing with Thunder Rosa, so this is another example of when the match happens, not if. Former TBS champ Maya World could be in the mix as well. Jericho and Wayne are set for a contest on Dynamite. Jericho’s rarely does one and done rivalries, so expect this one to have legs for at least one rematch. How do you want AEW to fill out the card for All Out? What do you think are the likely directions? Do you want one-on-one or a three-way for the women’s world title?
