AEW star and musician Andy Williams dies following an indie wrestling event

Professional wrestler and musician Andy Williams, known to fans as The Butcher, died Saturday after collapsing following an indie wrestling event. Williams suffered a medical emergency during his match for Enjoy Wrestling and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The 48-year-old rose to prominence in AEW as one half of The Butcher and The Blade, often competing alongside his tag-team partner, The Blade. Beyond his career in the ring, Williams served as the rhythm guitarist for the metalcore band Every Time I Die. Former colleagues including CM Punk, Dustin Rhodes, Danhausen, Malakai Black, and Matt Hardy issued tributes following the announcement of his death. The wrestling community continues to share condolences for the athlete and musician.
