Alabama defense forces three turnovers in win against Kentucky

Alabama defeated Kentucky 45-17 on Saturday in Lexington. The Crimson Tide defense recorded an interception and two fumble recoveries during the contest. Linebacker Luke Metz returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter after the team trailed by a touchdown. Alabama limited Kentucky to 10 points and 209 total yards, including just 62 yards and zero points in the second half. Through two games this season, the Alabama defense has allowed a total of 20 points and held opponents to one third-down conversion on 23 attempts. Players credited the defensive performance to the scheme implemented by coach Kane Wommack.
