Alisson appointed Liverpool vice-captain but won't wear the armband

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has named Alisson as the new vice-captain of the team ahead of the season. However, due to Premier League rules restricting goalkeepers from addressing referees, Alisson is unlikely to lead the team on the pitch, even when Virgil van Dijk is absent. Iraola has indicated that Dominik Szoboszlai may act in a leadership capacity, as he is expected to play regularly.
