Allen Eagles defeat DeSoto High School in football action

Allen (TX) secured a 50-6 victory over DeSoto (TX) on Friday, September 4. Sophomore quarterback Ty Snell led the Allen offense, completing six of seven passes for 169 yards and four touchdowns. Fellow sophomore Zach Williams was the primary target, recording four catches for 99 yards and three of those scores. The Allen defense maintained control for much of the contest, holding DeSoto scoreless until late in the fourth quarter. This result moves Allen to a 5-1 lead in the all-time series against the DeSoto program. Allen continues its season next Friday with an away game against Southlake Carroll (TX). DeSoto prepares to host Duncanville (TX) on Saturday.
