Amad Diallo misses Manchester United matches due to preseason injury

Manchester United attacker Amad Diallo remains sidelined with an injury sustained during preseason training. The 24-year-old has not yet returned to grass training at Carrington and will miss upcoming matches against Sabah in the Champions League, Manchester City in the Premier League, and Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup. While there is a slim possibility he could be available for the squad against Fulham on September 20, he is not expected to feature fully until after the international break, which concludes on October 6. The player recently competed for Ivory Coast at the World Cup and recorded two goals and four assists in 32 league appearances last season. He faces increased competition for a starting role this term following the reintegration of Marcus Rashford into the squad under Michael Carrick.
