Ana María Guzmán has transferred from FC Bayern Women to Palmeiras São Paulo, finalizing a permanent deal after a loan spell. The defender, 21, originally joined Bayern in summer 2023 but saw her time limited due to a knee injury sustained while on international duty with Colombia. After a short stint with the Utah Royals FC in the NWSL earlier in 2025, Guzmán's loan was cut short to facilitate her move to Brazil. FC Bayern Women sporting director Francisco De Sá Fardilha commented on her difficult time in Munich but wished her success at Palmeiras.
