Anderlecht pursues Romeo Amane for €6 million transfer from Rapid Wien

Anderlecht is negotiating a deal to sign midfielder Romeo Amane from Rapid Wien in the coming days. The proposed transfer for the 23-year-old is expected to reach a value of approximately €6 million. Anderlecht intends to add Amane alongside Santi Garcia to bolster the team's defensive and offensive capabilities in the midfield. Amane, who joined Rapid Wien midway through the 2024/2025 season, remains under contract with the club until 2029. The Belgian side is looking to reinforce its roster following a difficult start to the domestic campaign under head coach Vitor Bruno, despite successfully qualifying for the Europa League. Amane has made 69 appearances for Rapid Wien since his arrival, contributing two goals and five assists.
