The Toronto Tempo acquired Connecticut Sun forward Aneesah Morrow in a trade for the rights to Maria "Masha" Kliundikova and a 2028 second-round pick.

The Tempo acquired forward Aneesah Morrow from the Connecticut Sun on Friday for Toronto's second-round draft pick in 2028 and the rights to Maria Kliundikova. “We’re thrilled to welcome Aneesah to our organization,” Tempo general manager Monica Wright Rogers said.

Connecticut Sun forward Aneesah Morrow has been traded to the Toronto Tempo in exchange for Maria Kliundikova and a 2028 second-round pick. It’s a move that should instantly make Toronto better.

Morrow, a forward in her second season out of LSU, is averaging 11.6 points and 8.9 rebounds during the 2026 campaign.
