Notre Dame juniors Anthonie Knapp and Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa have been named to the Lombardi Award Watch List. The award recognizes outstanding linemen and linebackers who exemplify leadership and performance on and off the field. Knapp has started all 12 games last season and is also on the Outland Trophy Watch List. Viliamu-Asa played in 11 games last season and finished fourth on the team with 48 tackles. Both players have contributed significantly to Notre Dame's strong performance in the recent season.
