Anton Kade scores and assists in Augsburg victory against Schalke

Augsburg winger Anton Kade recorded a goal and an assist in his team's 3-0 victory against Schalke on August 30. Kade provided the assist for Michael Gregoritsch’s opening goal before converting a strike of his own in the 79th minute. Augsburg maintained control for most of the match, though the team allowed Schalke periods of possession after taking the lead. The performance draws attention amid speculation regarding a potential Germany national team call-up under head coach Jürgen Klopp. Kade stated he has not had direct contact with Klopp but believes the manager observed his play during the match. The win marks a significant start to the Bundesliga season for the winger.
