Appleton West reached a 3-0 record for the first time since 2004 by overcoming Green Bay Southwest 20-14 in an Appleton football matchup on Sept. 4. Junior Isaac Ise returned a kickoff 80 yards for the decisive score after Green Bay Southwest trimmed the deficit. Charlie Blevins added a rushing touchdown, while Connor Navis recorded a 1-yard scoring plunge. Elsewhere, Little Chute defeated Wrightstown 28-14 to maintain an undefeated start to its season.
