The Arizona Cardinals flew more than 140 athletes and coaches to Minneapolis for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. This marks a historic moment as it is the first time a widebody aircraft has been used for the Special Olympics Airlift, allowing the athletes to travel together as a team. The Cardinals partnered with Gridiron Air for this initiative, becoming the first professional sports team to offer its aircraft for this purpose.
