Arizona soccer defeated NAU 3-0 on Thursday at Mulcahy Soccer Stadium. Goals from Ella Weathersby, Kyleigh Johnson, and Allyson Brown provided the offensive output for the Wildcats. The win marks the first time Arizona has scored more than two goals in a single match since September of last year. Goalkeeper Laurynn Ziller secured the shutout by saving a penalty kick in the second half, the third such save by the team this season. Head coach Becca Moros noted the tactical importance of diversifying the scoring rotation and improving the quality of the final pass during gameplay. The victory moves the Wildcats back to a.500 record.
