Arsenal positioned to sign Alex Scott amid Premier League interest

Arsenal and Manchester United are at the forefront of the race to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, who has emerged as a key target after a successful season. Scott's representatives have engaged in talks with both clubs, and he is expected to make a decision about his future within the next two weeks. Although Bournemouth would prefer to retain him, Scott is leaning toward a move to Arsenal, despite concerns regarding potential playing time under manager Mikel Arteta. Manchester United is also pursuing additional midfield options, having recently signed Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos.
