Artist paints new Hull City tiger mural near railway station

A new mural depicting a tiger and its cub has been completed on the side of the Tigers Lair pub near the Hull railway station. Artist Steve Dixon, also known as SD Art, spent approximately 10 hours creating the artwork. The design features a tiger and cub alongside an image of Boothferry Park, which served as the home ground for Hull City prior to the move to the MKM Stadium. Dixon noted that the project was inspired by multi-generational fan families, including his own personal experiences attending games with his nephew. He intended for the inclusion of the club's former home to bridge the gap between the team's history and its current status. The pub is situated along a route frequently used by supporters traveling to see the team play.
