Aryna Sabalenka, the top-ranked tennis player, and basketball star Diana Taurasi are among several female athletes investing in the new Women’s Team Golf League (WTGL). Announced by Trybe Ventures, the investment group includes notable names from various sports, such as Hilary Knight and WNBA players Breanna Stewart and Nneka Ogwumike. WTGL is expected to commence later this fall at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, featuring teams of LPGA players. TMRW Sports, co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, operates both the WTGL and the men's TGL. Some golfers, including world No. 1 Nelly Korda, have expressed concerns about the separate league for women.
