The Oakland Athletics have activated Max Muncy from the injured list, where he missed about six weeks due to a fractured left hand. This decision was announced ahead of the game against Milwaukee. To create roster space, the Athletics have optioned infielder Darell Hernaiz to Triple-A Las Vegas. Hernaiz appeared in 47 games, batting.237 with one home run and seven RBIs.
