Atlanta Falcons claim defensive lineman Jared Ivey from Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks lost defensive lineman Jared Ivey to the Atlanta Falcons during the NFL waiver claims period. Seattle was not awarded any players through the waiver process. Because the Seahawks held the final position in the waiver wire order, they remained unable to secure any of the 28 players claimed by other teams. Despite losing Ivey, who served as an undrafted rookie on the active roster last season, Seattle retains options for its practice squad. Players drafted by the Seahawks this year, including Michael Dansby, Andre Fuller, Deven Eastern, and Emmanuel Henderson Jr., cleared waivers. These four players are now eligible to sign with the team's practice squad.
