Atlanta Hawks and Hoop It Up host 3x3 basketball tournament in October

The Atlanta Hawks, College Park Skyhawks and Hoop It Up will host a one-day 3x3 basketball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event marks the return of 3x3 basketball to the region for the first time in seven years. Competition includes recreational divisions for youth and adults, a wheelchair division and a Pro-Am bracket with a $2,000 prize. Teams are guaranteed at least three games, with individual registration fees starting at $260 for standard squads and $330 for Pro-Am entries. Each player receives a jersey and a ticket to a future Hawks home game. Spectator admission to the venue remains free for the public throughout the day. The event occurs one week before the Hawks face the Houston Rockets on Oct. 24.
