Auburn kicker Alex McPherson has been named to the preseason watchlists for the Lou Groza Award and the Danny Wuerffel Trophy ahead of the upcoming season. The Lou Groza Award honors the nation's top kicker, while the Wuerffel Trophy recognizes players excelling in community service and academics alongside athletic performance. McPherson's recognition follows a solid previous season, where he successfully completed all 35 extra-point attempts and made 20 of 23 field goals.
