Florida football players named to prestigious award watch lists

Florida football linebacker Myles Graham was named to the Butkus Award watch list on August 13, recognized for his performance last season. Graham, who led the team with 76 tackles and was a first-team All-SEC selection as a freshman, recorded seven tackles for loss and two sacks in 2025. Alongside him, wide receiver Vernell Brown III and running back Jadan Baugh were named to the Paul Hornung Award list, honoring college football's most versatile players. Baugh led Florida with 1,170 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 2025, while Brown became the first true freshman to lead the Gators in receptions. Kicker Patrick Durkin joined the Lou Groza Award watch list after a successful season at Tulane, where he achieved an 89.3% field goal accuracy rate. Semifinalists for these awards will be revealed in the coming months, with final announcements scheduled in December.
