Azam Khan criticizes toxic fan reactions towards Babar Azam

Wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan spoke out about the toxic fan culture surrounding Babar Azam during a podcast on November 5. He defended Babar's skills while condemning the online abuse from the players' supporters, which he described as ignorant. Babar is currently facing struggles in his form, having scored only 118 runs in five matches during the ODI tri-series, including a recent disappointing performance in domestic cricket where he was dismissed for 28 runs. Azam's remarks highlight the need for constructive criticism over harmful social media trolling, especially given the human impact on players and analysts alike.
