Barcelona's Alex Campos earns first senior call-up for PSG match

Barcelona faces PSG in Paris with a depleted defense due to injuries to Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia. The club has turned to La Masia for reinforcement, calling up 18-year-old Alex Campos for his potential first-team debut. Campos's development has been significantly influenced by Arnau Blanco, Hansi Flick’s assistant, who has been involved in his progress since 2019. Campos has established himself as a reliable defender at the youth level, showcasing strong defensive skills and passing ability. His ability to play on either side of central defense could be crucial for Barcelona, especially given the fitness concerns over Gerard Martin.
