Barcelona's Jofre Torrents set for potential loan move this summer

Summary

Barcelona left-back Jofre Torrents is expected to leave on a season-long loan during the summer of 2026. Ajax and Racing Club are reported as the leading candidates for the 19-year-old, who is seeking regular first-team minutes after an ankle injury halted his progress last season. With Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martín competing for the left-back position, a loan is considered the best option for Torrents. He is anticipated to travel with Barcelona for their training camp and pre-season friendlies, with a decision on his loan destination likely to be finalized upon the team's return.
