Baron Corbin discusses his return process to WWE

Baron Corbin recently detailed his return to WWE after a period away from the promotion. Corbin stated that he did not solicit a contract during his time away, maintaining only informal personal communication with Triple H. Following his departure from the company, Corbin spent time in MLW, where he and partner Donovan Dijak held the MLW World Tag Team Championship as The Skyscrapers. Before returning to WWE, he dropped those titles to The Good Brothers in a Tennessee Tornado Match held in May. Most recently, Corbin lost the WWE Men's United States Championship to Trick Williams at Sunday Night's Main Event. Corbin indicated that the transition back to WWE occurred through outreach from the promotion rather than his own request for employment.
