Bayern move to the second round of the DFB Cup after defeating Osnabrück

FC Bayern secured a spot in the second round of the DFB Cup with a 4–1 victory over VfL Osnabrück at Bremer Brücke on Wednesday evening. Despite falling behind early to a Robin Meißner goal in the fifth minute, the visitors regained control through an equalizer from Harry Kane and a go-ahead goal by Tom Bischof. Michael Olise added a third goal in the 71st minute, while Kane converted a penalty late in the match to finalize the score. The result extends FC Bayern’s streak of progressing past the first round to 32 consecutive seasons. Jonas Urbig started in goal for the winners, while Kane marked his 150th competitive appearance for the club with his 148th goal.
