Bayern Munich confirms intention to keep Luis Diaz amid transfer interest

Summary

Bayern Munich has stated they will not sell winger Luis Diaz this summer. The club views Diaz, who had 26 goals and 23 assists last season, as integral to their plans. A recent €70m offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal was rejected, as Bayern considers a sale for less than the €75m they paid to be unwise. While Arijon Ibrahimovic is seen as a future option, he is not yet ready for a leading role. Bayern is prepared to deny further approaches unless Diaz expresses a desire to leave.
